Throughout the readings today, we hear a resounding theme about the importance of forgiveness. Our God is merciful and compassionate. The parable warns us that unless we are willing to forgive, the forgiveness granted us by God will be revoked.
We pray, “Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.”
